A new free weekly event of acoustic music and spoken word @ The Green Room, Division St, Sheffield.

Expect a chilled out, candlelit atmosphere fueled by the best acoustic artists, poets and speakers from Sheffield and around the UK. Fans of Opus Unplugged at The Riverside Cafe will especially enjoy these events. The Green Room is a centrally located bar/venue perfect for a few quite drinks whilst listening to excellent music. Come down and check it out.

THePETEBOX is one of the world's finest human beatbox artists, hailing from Nottingham, UK. For the uninitiated, human beatboxing is creating music, mimicking a wide range of instruments and effects using just the mouth and voice.

THePETEBOX is a leading player on the beatboxing scene, making his mark after only a few months of gigging by winning the Radio 1 beatbox championships in 2005. Since then his breathtaking abilities to create, and re-create many styles of music such as hip-hop, drum 'n' bass, house, garage and even rock, has established him as an explosive live performer and hip-hop local, having appeared at over 100 club nights around the UK and a number of festivals abroad in the past two years.
